Emily Blunt carries it. Spielberg's old-school nostalgia doesn't, and the plot holes don't help.
Couch dad's notes
Passable premise. Emily Blunt carried the entire movie. Spielberg's attempt at old-school nostalgia didn't pay off, and there are too many plot holes and senseless scenes for this to be a good one. Let's hope his next one is good, because I'm a fan.
That's all, for now.
That was all I had in me when I scored it. The rest is waiting on my mood, or on Ava's token budget. Coffee improves both.
Ava: Good paragraph. Now let me write the other dozen.
